The Moraga Art Gallery presents a new group show, "Birth and Rebirth" by local Bay Area and Lamorinda artists showing watercolors, oil
painting, collage, ceramics, photography, mixed media, jewelry and glass design.

The Gallery is doubly featuring the work of jewelry designer Karen Blum-Boateng, "Little Gems for Little Hands". Karen has always been fascinated with the natural world and incorporates these natural themes in her designs. Eclectic in nature, Little Gems appeals to all styles. These funky elegant designs combine the hippest jewelry fashions with sophisticated style. The other featured artist is John Diestler, digital photographer. John teaches digital photography, digital art. multimedia and graphic design at Contra Costa College in San Pablo. He began explore digital artwork in 1985 and has found it to be a never ending learning experience. Currently, he has a solo exhibit at the Moraga Public Library through Dec. 31.
