Capturing the Light
Landscapes, Scenic and Travel photography.

The Moraga Art Gallery's new show "Capturing the Light" will be running from June 5-August 11, 2007.

The featured artist for this month is Wenda Pyman, a Bay Area photographer who specializes in Landscapes, Scenic and Travel photography. Wenda's images reflects her all consuming passion to capture nature's diverse patterns and imagery, both locally and worldwide. From the contemplative to the dramatic, her images express her unique perception of her surroundings. Special emphasis of her show will be California and Mount Diablo scenics & beyond. See how Wenda captures the light in her images. She draws her inspiration from famous photographers Ansel Adams, Art Wolfe, David Meunsch, Eliot Porter and Larry Ulrich. By studying their images, she has learned "the art of seeing". See her images at the Moraga Art Gallery, as well as her permanent location, Handworks of Danville in Danville, CA.

Jewelry, ceramics, watercolors, mixed media, oil & acrylics, photography and sculpture by other Bay Area local artists will also be presented.
